About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Lyrafox website and buy from us. Lyrafox is operated by Lyrafox (“we”, “us”). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, shipping policy and cancellation, returns and refunds policy. This page is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and doesn't need a signature.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Give accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Accounts created to misuse offers or referral rewards may be suspended.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

Orders and contracts

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We confirm it on the order confirmation page and in My orders. The contract for each item is formed when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel orders as described in the cancellation policy, for example when an item is out of stock. You'll get a full refund for anything you paid for those items. Products are sold for personal and household use, not for resale.

Prices and product information

• Prices are in Indian Rupees. The price you pay is the price shown in your cart when you place the order.
• The MRP shown is the maximum retail price printed on the pack, inclusive of all taxes. We never charge more than the MRP for a product.
• Delivery and handling charges, coupon discounts and wallet credit are shown separately before you confirm the order.
• We show product details (such as net quantity, brand, manufacturer, country of origin and dates) as provided by brands and on the pack. Images are for illustration, and packaging may change. Always read the label before use, especially for allergens and directions.
• If a price or description is obviously wrong, we'll tell you and you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Payment

The payment options available for your order are shown at checkout, including cash on delivery. Online payments, when offered, are processed by RBI-authorised payment aggregators. We never see or store your card or UPI credentials. Orders paid on delivery must be paid in full at handover.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Delivery is covered by our shipping policy; cancellations, returns and refunds by our cancellation, returns and refunds policy. We don't charge cancellation fees.

Wallet, coupons and referrals

Wallet credit, coupons and referral rewards are promotional benefits. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or withdrawn, and are subject to the referral and wallet terms and any conditions shown with an offer. We may withdraw benefits obtained by misuse.

How products are ranked

Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, here are the main factors that decide the order of products:

• Search results (“Relevance”): in-stock items first, then how closely the product matches your words. An exact name match ranks above a name starting with your words, which ranks above other matches. Matches in the brand, category, variant and search tags also count.
• Category pages: in-stock items first.
• Sort options you choose (price, discount, rating, newest, name) replace the default order.

Placement is not paid for: no brand or seller pays to rank higher.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site. That includes: breaking the law; giving false information; scraping or overloading the site; trying to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours; interfering with security; or abusing offers, referral codes or cash-on-delivery. We may suspend accounts that do this, and report it where the law requires.

Intellectual property

The Lyrafox name, logo, site design and content belong to us or our licensors. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their owners. You may use the site for shopping, but not copy or reuse its content commercially without permission.

Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the site running and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first, using our grievance process; most problems are solved quickly that way. You can also approach the Consumer Commission with jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
